French player suspended
22 JUNE 2005
French lock forward Denis Drozdz has been suspended for three weeks, following a judicial hearing today, Wednesday 22 June.
The hearing was called after the player was cited for an act of foul play in contravention of Law 10.4( b ), stamping or trampling.
The player was found guilty of a stamping offence and will, as a result, miss France's third place play-off against New Zealand on Saturday 25 June.
