Vincent - I hope you're well. I just thought I'd give you an update on Adrien's trip to England. He'll be travelling through France on June the 25th, spending the night in Calais, then crossing the Channel the following day.

He'll be staying until August the 1st. He'll be staying at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium, which is the centre for disabled sport, and which has its own hotel. During his stay, he'll be training with the Great Britain and London wheelchair rugby teams. I'll also be taking him to visit Matt Hampson, the young Leicester and England U-21 prop, who was paralysed in a training accident three years ago. He's a good friend of mine, and I organised a walk from the Wasps ground to Leicester last year, raising nearly £18,000 for his trust fund. He lives in a lovely part of the country, and there's a superb pub in the nearest town, where he intends to teach Adrien how to drink English beer. This pub brews its own beer, on the premises.

Adrien will be accompanied to England by his cousin, another Vincent, who will stay for a couple of days, to help him settle in.

If you didn't speak perfect English, I would have written this in French, but there's no point! So, apologies to those on the Cyber Vulcans Forum who don't read English.

Good luck to ASM for the rest of the season. I spoke to Alex last night, and he's excited about the next few weeks. He says he hopes to maybe get one more game, and then that's it. He would like to stay for another year, and do some coaching, as he has absolutely loved his time out there.

Un update concernant le voyage d’Adrien en Angleterre. Il voyagera le 25 juin, passera une nuit à Calais avant de traverse le channel le lendemain.
Il restera jusqu’au 1er août. Il sera au Stoke Mandeville Stadium, qui est le centre pour sportif handicapés, et qui a son propre hôtel. Pendant son séjour, il s’entraînera avec les équipes rugby fauteuil d’Angleterre et de Londres. Je le prendrai également avec moi pour rendre visite à Matt Hampson, le jeune joueur de Leicester et de l’équipe d’Angleterre -21, qui a été paralysé suite à un accident à l’entraînement il y a 3 ans. C’est un bon ami à moi, et j’ai organisé une marche entre les terrains des Wasps et de Leicester l’an passé, récoltant environ 18 000 livres pour sa fondation. Il vit dans une charmante région du pays, et il y a un super pub dans la ville la plus proche, où il compte apprendre à Adrien comment boire la bière anglaise. Ce pub brasse sa propre bière…

Adrien sera accompagné de son cousin, un autre Vincent, qui restera quelques jours afin de l’aider à s’installer.

Si tu ne parlais pas un anglais parfait, j’aurais écrit en français mais il n’ya pas besoin. Donc mes excuses à ceux des Cybervulcans qui ne comprennent pas l’anglais.
Bonne chance à l’ASM pour le reste de la saison. J’ai parlé avec Alex la nuit dernière et il est excité par les prochaines semaines. Il dit espérer peut-être jouer encore un match et après ce sera terminé. Il aimerait rester une année supplémentaire, faire du coaching, vu qu’il a vraiment adoré son séjour là bas.

Vincent j'espère que tu vas bien; je te donne juste quelques nouvelles concernant le voyage d'Adrien en Angleterre. Il va traverser la france le 25 Juin, passera la nuit à calais pour traverser la manche le lendemain.
Il restera jusqu'au 1er Aout, au Stoke Mandeville Stadium qui est un centre pour sportifs handicapés disposant de son propre Hotel. Durant son séjour, il va s'entrainer avec les équipes de GB et de Londres de rugby fauteuil. J'ai également parler avec lui de rendre viste à Mat Hampson l'entraineur (?) des jeunes de Leicester et des Anglais de -21, qui fût paralysé lors d'un accident à l'entrainement il y'a 3 ans. C'est un bon ami, et j'ai organisé une marche du stade des wasp jusqu'à Leicester l'an passé, opération qui rapporta 18 000£ à sa fondation. Bonne chance à l'ASM pour la fin de saison, j'ai parlé à Alex la nuit dernière, et il est motivé/excité/enthousiaste pour les semaines à venir. Il dit qu'il souhaite jouer encore peut etre un match et ca sera tout. Il voudrait rester une autre année et débuté dans le staff (?) et il a adoré cette année à l'étranger.
