Une petite analyse angloise :
"I'll be possibly the only poster on here to give a shit!
And guess where I'll be for this game despite having a ticket? Minnesota. Poor planning Croyals Central Command.
Sarries are missing a quality back row injured, Melck is a decent journeyman but not an HEC winner, Will Fraser is doing a good job as another one of our young English players but is not neccessarily of the right standard yet, and I believe Joubert will be playing who is really our first choice 8.
About 15,000 tickets have been sold for this game which will be our largest crowd at VR for quite a while and certainly in the Venter era, while I don't think this game will match the passion of our match against the Ospreys 4 years ago it should be a good atmosphere.
Our problem is the front row - Stevens just isn't good enough and I counted 4 and possibly 5 penalties he gave away at Wembley, Brits is immense in open field but isn't good enough in the scrum, and then we're down to one of Nieto or Gill, and I don't particularly rate either.
Out wide we've got the players but the execution can be poor - Chargedown Charlie I guess will be 10 with England's Second Coming at 12, Short (who is damn quick) one one wing, Goode at full back with 13 and 14 up for grabs. Wyles played 13 on Saturday and was poor, but then so was Goode. I'd like to see Tajicakibau (sic?) on the wing for some power and pace. It occurs to me that Barrit wasn't injured on Saturday but was at his brother's wedding so he comes into the centres and will add a lot more steel and determination. No one will get through that channel.
We've got to step it up from the last few weeks where we have been markedly average, but we can do this!"
