L’encadrement tricolore a communiqué le groupe de 22 joueurs retenus pour affronter l’Irlande, le 6 février 2009 à Athlone. Les clermontois Alexandre Lapandry et Loann Goujon seront du voyage.

A noter que c'est le 3e ligne de Clermont, Alexandre Lapandry qui a été désigné capitaine
